Ontech Alarm Box 9012 is a wireless accessory for the main units Ontech GSM 9025 or Ontech GSM 9040. The unit has built-in magnetic switch, an alarm input and a temperature element.

Key functions
The unit communicates with the main unit using a short-range radio on the frequency 2.4 GHz. Up to 7 Ontech Alarm Boxes can be connected to each main unit.

The unit has a built-in magnetic switch and a magnet is included. Suitable for alarming doors and windows.

The device has two alarm inputs (one breaking and one closing) to which different types of alarm sensors can be connected, e.g. fire alarms, motion detectors, level guards, etc.

The device also has a temperature sensor that reports the current temperature during the status request.

The device is powered by a 3V lithium battery that lasts at least two years. When the battery starts to run out, a message about this is sent to everyone on the alarm list.

Up to 7 devices can be wirelessly connected to each main unit in the Ontech GSM system.

The range is approximately 30 meters in open field. This is usually sufficient for a normal-sized villa.
