This cleaning sponge is designed for effective wet cleaning of soldering tips and helps keep them clean for the best possible soldering results. The sponge easily removes excess solder, flux residue and other contaminants without damaging the soldering tip surface.

The sponge is supplied in a dry, compressed state and expands to full size when moistened with water. When in use, the still warm soldering tip is gently wiped against the damp sponge, which provides a quick and gentle cleaning while working.
