Advantech B+B EKI-5726I is the industry's first Ethernet Green, IEEE802.3az - switch that reduces power consumption by up to 60% and the total cost of ownership.
EKI-5726I can be used as plug-and-play unattended switch right out of the box or install iView² Network Management Software which gives them basic monitoring and management functions. In this way, the gap between unattended switches and significantly more expensive managed solutions is bridged.
With iView² enabled, the switch can provide IP address assignment, enabling a static IP address or an address via DHCP. The EKI-5726I has the ability to use Modbus/TCP to communicate with HMI/SCADA applications and SNMP to communicate with NMS (Networking Management Software) at the same time. This gives full control access for both monitoring technicians and IT managers.
