Milesight UG63 v2 Mini LoRaWAN Gateway with Ethernet connection for indoor use.

Small and compact unit for indoor surveillance systems or extended coverage together with other gateways. Ex UG65 and UG67.

UG63 v2 is an important part of an extensive ecosystem of sensors, gateways and cloud services.

Complete with Cloud portal

Milesight's system makes it extremely easy to build your own LoRa network without special skills.

All you need to do to get started is: create a Cloud account, select internet connection to UG63 v2 (Ethernet) and enter the serial number of your LoRa devices in the portal. Then it's just a matter of configuring the portal based on your wishes.

Milesight IoT Cloud portal is free for up to 10 devices (nodes and gateways). It can then be easily upgraded as your network grows and more functions are requested.

IoT Cloud is hosted on servers in Germany for customers in Europe.

Each LoRaWAN device can then have many different sensors and functions. For example, a room unit can monitor temperature, carbon dioxide, brightness, humidity and the amount of organic compounds (TVOC, harmful substances in the air).

This model can handle up to 2000 nodes with a range of up to 15 km in clear view and approx. 2 km in an urban environment (depending on location).

The UG63 Gateway provides LoRa coverage in a building and in some cases outdoors at the same time. More gateways can be added to the portal to expand the coverage area as needed.

Internet connection via Ethernet makes it easy to get started.

This is the solution regardless of whether you want to monitor the air environment in the premises, the amount of rubbish in the bin, the water level in the tank or control lighting and other functions. Through Milesight IoT Cloud, you can also control LoRa devices based on various measurement values. For example, measure humidity in the soil and then control automatic irrigation.

Simply complete with optional LoRa devices and combine your own system.

You can also combine LoRaWAN with data from existing SCADA/ModBus systems. This allows local facilities to be easily connected to the outside world.

All Milesight LoRa units can be connected to existing systems from other suppliers.

The UG63 v2 has an advanced Semtech SX1302 LoRa chip with support for their latest Packet Forwarder and has its own built-in server. Compatible with AWS IoT Core, The Things Network, ChirpStack, LORIOT, Everynet and many more.

UG63 v2 is IP30 rated with an operating temperature between -20°C and +50°C.

It comes without a power adapter but can be powered via PoE or USB Type-C for flexible placement.

If you need more advanced functions such as Node-RED or Python for local automation or a gateway that can be mounted outdoors, then choose the UG65 or UG67.
