Milesight EM500-PP is a LoRaWAN device that measures pressure in pipes.
EM500-UDL can be used to measure pressure e.g. water pipes/heating pipes or any other type of pressure monitoring, e.g. control of pumps. The sensor is screwed into a pipe fitting and can measure up to 16 Bar (1600 kPa) with an accuracy of ± 0.5%. Pipe connection G 1/2" Male
The EM500 is designed for industrial applications with very high requirements for reliability and accuracy.
The device has the possibility to be configured for trigger levels that immediately send measurement data outside the ranges.< /p>
The EM500 series is fully waterproof (IP67) and made for outdoor use in temperatures from -30 to +70 degrees.
The pressure sensor is IP65 rated (on the cable side) which means it can withstand flushing water but not submersion under water Naturally the sensor is completely sealed (up to 24 Bar) from the tube side.
The device is super easy to install and maintain as it comes with a very large (19,000 mAh) Li-SOCL batteries that last 10 years (at 10 minute intervals).
It has a multi-function bracket that can be screwed on, attached around a pipe or attached to a DIN rail.
Connection to Milesight The LoRaWAN gateway and IoT Cloud are managed completely automatically just by scanning the barcode with the mobile app (Milesight IoT Clo ud) or manually key in the serial number in the web portal.
The device will pre-configure (Plug-n-play) to only connect to the Milesight LoRaWAN gateway / Milesight IoT Cloud via the serial number on a barcode. But the device can be configured via a mobile app just by placing the mobile phone against the device (NFC) or via a PC and a USB-C cable. If you want to change the settings or configure the device to fit other LoRaWAN gateways or Cloud systems, it is easily done via the mobile app (NFC) or a PC (USB).
