Milesight EM500-CO2 is a LoRaWAN device with four different sensors that monitor the air outdoors, in greenhouses or in industry.
EM500-CO2 is basically a carbon dioxide sensor for industry, greenhouses, fan systems, etc. but it also measures temperature, air pressure and humidity.
EM500 is developed for industrial applications with very high requirements for operational reliability and accuracy.
The EM500 series is completely waterproof (IP67) and made for outdoor placement in temperatures -30 to +70 degrees. The carbon dioxide sensor is IP65 rated (can be flushed with water but not submerged under water) So the device can easily cope with normal outdoor climate even under harsh conditions.
The device is super easy to install and maintain as it comes with a very large ( 19,000 mAh) Li-SOCL batteries that can last 10 years (at 10 minute intervals).
It has a multi-function bracket that can be screwed on, attached around a pipe or attached to a DIN rail.
The connection to the Milesight LoRaWAN gateway and IoT Cloud is managed completely automatically just by scanning the barcode with the mobile app (Milesight IoT Cloud) or manually entering the serial number in the web portal.
The device will pre-configure (Plug-n-play ) to only connect to the Milesight LoRaWAN gateway / Milesight IoT Cloud via the serial number on a barcode. But the device can be configured via a mobile app just by placing the mobile phone against the device (NFC) or via a PC and a USB-C cable. If you want to change the settings or configure the device to fit other LoRaWAN gateways or Cloud systems, it is easily done via the mobile app (NFC) or a PC (USB).
