The Poynting HELI-19 is a durable WiFi antenna with good gain in two directions, making it ideal for tunnels where the IoT/M2M connectivity is distributed and offers coverage in the corridors.
Poynting's HELI antennas are circularly polarized directional antennas. The circular polarization provides a much better range in tunnels than ordinary linear directional antennas.
In practical tests, the HELI antennas provide both the higher data rate and longer range compared to linearly polarized directional antennas with the same gain.
HELI-19 is a antenna with dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz elements that radiate in both directions (ie bi-directional) making it ideal for coverage in mining and other types of tunnels. These antennas are typically used for IoT deployment to provide telemetry and mine automation.
HELI-19 is supplied as an antenna without ceiling mount and with two connections, N-male.
