Hopefully you will never need it, but in an emergency it will alert you in time. A pan left on the stove too long or a forgotten iron... first comes the smoke, then comes the fire. This fire alarm triggers in time.

The HEIMAN Smart Smoke Sensor has a highly sensitive sensor and warns both visually and with the siren. In a serious situation, the smoke sensor warns with a red LED that flashes quickly and with a loud howling alarm. In addition, it is possible to receive a warning on your smartphone if you are not at home, via your Z-Wave controller.

Due to the use of the Z-Wave wireless technology, the sensor can be connected to any Z-Wave gateway. Thanks to the latest Z-Wave Plus standard, the smoke sensor has a battery life of 3 years.

What is Z-Wave S2?

Z-Wave S2 is the latest generation of Z-Wave developed to reduce power consumption, faster commands between devices and increase security on the network.

Advanced encryption

S2 improves Z-Wave Plus and Gen5 devices with an extra layer of AES 128-bit encryption of wireless signals combined with security class UL 1023.

Increased security

The first two layers of security are joined by a third - Always-on ECDH key exchange, which makes man-in-the-middle or brute force hacking almost impossible.

Better battery life

ECDH and AES 128-bit reduce Z-Wave Plus wireless data transmission, security communication now uses 66% less battery.
