Showering, cooking, drying clothes: with these activities, people continuously release water vapor in the air. If there’s not enough air exchange – a problem of many modern, well-insulated houses – the room air can quickly become very damp and there’s a risk of mould.

But overly dry indoor air can affect our wellbeing and our health in various ways. Skin, mucous membranes and respiratory system are strained, and pets, plants, wooden floors and antique furniture also suffer.

The innovative graphics of the thermo-hygrometer show the measured humidity values of the last 3 hours, 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days in an extremely clear way like on a radar screen. Risk of mould with a permanently high humidity of over 65% or an overly dry room air of less than 35% can be easily detected at a glance.

With targeted heating and ventilation, you create a comfortable and healthy living environment and even save on heating costs.
When used in connection to the WeatherHub gateway, it’s possible to retrieve the readings worldwide via a smartphone app and to use numerous additional functions.
